Mario Minardi received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy, in 2017 and 2020, respectively. He is currently a Doctoral Researcher in SIGCOM research group at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg. He has developed his Master Thesis at SES in Betzdorf (Luxembourg), investigating the application of Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization technologies, in the 5G context, for satellite networks. His research interests are in traffic management for dynamic and software defined networking-based networks.
